Where recordings are processed and stored

Echo Chamber records, transcribes, searches, and runs transcript AI on supported Apple devices. Recordings and transcripts are not uploaded to an external AI service for those tasks.

Storage is a separate choice

The app stores recordings and transcripts locally by default. Optional iCloud sync creates a cloud-storage path through your Apple account. Files you share or export go to the destination you choose and take on its access and retention rules.

Connections and setup

Model downloads, purchase verification, and cloud sync can need a connection. Links, support, and sharing also have their own destinations. Check the app settings for the model, plan, and sync options available in your version.
