Export a transcript in any format

Share clean text, subtitles, structured data, a PDF, or a Word document.

Updated 2026-06-14

When a transcript is ready, you decide where it goes and in what shape. Echo Chamber exports to eight formats, so whether you need a quick paste or a polished document, there is a fit.

The eight formats

  • Plain text, for a clean paste anywhere.
  • Timestamped text, with the time of each line.
  • Markdown, for notes apps and documents.
  • SRT, subtitles for most video tools.
  • VTT, web video captions.
  • JSON, structured data for developers and tools.
  • PDF, a shareable document, part of Pro.
  • DOCX, a Word document, part of Pro.
  1. 1

    Open a recording

Go to the transcript you want to share.

  2. 2

Tap Export and choose a format

Pick the format that suits where the transcript is headed.

  3. 3

    Share or save

Send it through the share sheet, save it to Files, or hand it to another app.

Free covers most needs

Text, Markdown, SRT, VTT, and JSON are all free, and the speaker names you assign come along in the exported file. PDF and Word export are part of Echo Chamber Pro.
