Summarize a recording
Turn a transcript into Cornell notes, minutes, bullets, and more, on-device.
A summary turns a long transcript into something you can act on in seconds. Echo Chamber generates these on your device, so the content of your conversation never leaves it.
Summary styles you can choose
- Cornell notes, with cues, notes, and a summary, great for study and review.
- Meeting minutes, a structured record of decisions and discussion.
- Bullet points, the key takeaways at a glance.
- Outline, the structure of what was said.
- Q&A, the questions raised and answers given.
- Executive summary, the short version for someone who was not there.

Summaries are generated on-device using Apple Intelligence on supported hardware, with a bundled on-device model as a fallback. Your transcript is not sent to an outside service.
On supported devices, AI summaries are available for free. On older hardware that relies on the bundled on-device model, AI summaries are part of Echo Chamber Pro. Either way, the work happens on your device.
