The fastest recording is the one you do not have to dig for. Echo Chamber gives you several ways to start so you can capture a thought before it slips away.
- In the app, tap the record button on the main screen.
- From the Lock Screen, add the Echo Chamber widget and tap it to start without unlocking.
- From Control Center, add the Echo Chamber control and tap it from anywhere.
- With Siri, set up a Shortcut and say your phrase to begin hands-free.
- From your Apple Watch, tap record on the wrist and your iPhone does the transcribing.
Recording keeps going in the background
Once a recording starts, you can lock your phone, check a message, or switch apps. Echo Chamber keeps capturing audio until you stop it, and a Live Activity keeps it visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
