KITH

Remember people without turning them into a pipeline.

Kith helps you remember people without turning them into a sales pipeline. Inner, Close, and Wider circles create an adjustable reach-out rhythm, while the Warmth Ring cools gently without guilt or scoring. Today surfaces who may appreciate a hello and keeps important dates separate. On supported iPhones, local intelligence can structure a memory, begin a message, suggest a caring question, or explore a gift direction without sending relationship notes to a developer server. Kith remains useful without Apple Intelligence and is in active development.

Why it exists

Remember people without turning them into a pipeline.

Kith uses circles, an adjustable cadence, and a gently cooling Warmth Ring to make staying close feel humane. Optional local helpers can organize a memory or help begin a message without turning private relationships into cloud CRM data.

01 / Private workflowFrom input to useful result

No hidden data path

Useful from the first input to the final result.

  1. 01

    Choose Your Circle

Add someone manually or through the system picker, place them in a closeness circle, and adjust the suggested cadence.

  2. 02

    Remember the Human Detail

Keep interactions, important dates, and discrete facts attached to the person rather than building a general diary.

  3. 03

See Who Might Need a Hello

The Today view uses cadence, warmth, pinned people, and snoozes for a gentle reach-out plan, while birthdays and other dates appear separately in Coming Up.

  4. 04

    Reach Out Thoughtfully

On supported iPhones, private AI can help draft a warm, casual, or brief message, surface a caring question, or suggest a gift direction from saved context.

What it does

Purpose-built for one private workflow.

01

Warmth without Guilt

A cooling ring and adjustable cadence create a humane invitation to reconnect, without streaks, alarm-red overdue states, or relationship scoring.

02

Private Helpers for Real Moments

Draft a message, structure a note, find a talking point, or explore gift directions using Apple’s on-device model and saved context.

03

Low-Friction Follow-Through

Widgets, Siri, Shortcuts, Control Center, Spotlight, and local date reminders reduce the effort of logging and remembering.

Privacy is architecture

A shorter data path.
A clearer privacy boundary.

Relationship records and Foundation Models assistance are designed around the device, with no Obsidian Ridge Labs account or AI server. The app remains useful when Apple Intelligence is unavailable; any private iCloud behavior will be documented precisely before release.

Questions worth asking.

01Is Kith a private personal CRM for friends and family?

Kith is better described as a private relationship manager than a sales CRM. It organizes people into Inner, Close, and Wider circles, keeps interactions and discrete facts attached to each person, and uses an adjustable cadence to suggest who may be worth contacting next.

02How does Kith remind me to reach out without creating guilt?

A Warmth Ring gradually cools as time passes relative to a person’s cadence. The Today planner can consider warmth, upcoming dates, and snoozes, but it avoids alarm-red overdue states, completion scores, and streak punishment. A suggestion is an invitation, not a judgment about the relationship.

03Does Kith upload my contacts or private notes to an AI server?

The current design stores relationship records locally and runs Foundation Models helpers on supported iPhones. Contacts are imported through Apple’s picker rather than broad developer-side contact ingestion. Kith has no Obsidian Ridge Labs account, AI server, analytics SDK, or advertising network.

04What can Kith’s on-device AI help me do?

On supported hardware, Kith can structure a brain dump into discrete facts, draft a warm message, suggest caring questions or gift directions, and recap saved context about a person. The source context stays visible, and the person, not the model, decides what is true, appropriate, and worth sending.

05Will Kith work on an iPhone without Apple Intelligence?

Yes. People, circles, cadences, logging, notes, important dates, reminders, widgets, Siri, and Spotlight remain useful without the AI helpers. AI surfaces can hide cleanly when Apple Intelligence is unavailable.

06Can I quickly log a call or remember an upcoming birthday in Kith?

The in-development app includes quick logging in the app, Siri and Shortcuts actions, a Control Center control, widgets, Spotlight, and local important-date reminders. Notifications remain permission-based and can be skipped or disabled.
