Lock the app with Face ID
Add a layer of privacy so only you can open your recordings.
Updated 2026-06-14
Your recordings can be personal, so Echo Chamber lets you put them behind Face ID. With App Lock on, the app asks for your face before it opens.
- 1
Open Settings
Find the App Lock or Face ID setting in the app's settings.
- 2
Turn on Face ID lock
Enable it, and grant Face ID access if asked.
- 3
Test it
Close and reopen Echo Chamber. It should ask for Face ID before showing your recordings.
Optional, and on-device
App Lock is optional and uses your device's built-in biometrics. Your face data never reaches Echo Chamber, it is handled by your device, as Apple designed it.
