Scan a receipt

Receipt scanning saves you typing. Vault uses your iPhone's on-device text recognition to pull the key details, then lets you confirm before saving.

   Start a scan

   Tap the plus button, then choose to scan a receipt. Vault asks for camera access the first time.

2. 02

   Frame the receipt

   Hold your phone steady over the receipt so the total is clearly visible.

3. 03

   Review what Vault found

   Vault fills in the amount, merchant, and date. Check them and fix anything that looks off.

4. 04

   Save

   Tap save to add the expense.
