Import a PDF or CSV statement

Bring in a batch of transactions from a bank statement, with duplicates filtered out.

Updated 2026-06-14

If you would rather not link a bank, importing a statement is a great way to catch up on many transactions at once. Vault accepts PDF and CSV files.

  1. 1

    Download your statement

Get a PDF or CSV statement from your bank's website or app, and save it to Files or Photos.

  2. 2

    Start an import

In Vault, choose to import a statement and pick your file.

  3. 3

    Review the transactions

Vault reads the file and shows what it found so you can confirm before anything is added.

  4. 4

    Import

Confirm to add them. Vault categorizes each one and you can adjust as needed.

Duplicates are handled for you

Vault de-duplicates as it imports, so transactions you already have (from a previous import or manual entry) will not pile up twice.

Importing is on-device

Reading and matching your statement happens entirely on your iPhone. Importing a file does not send anything to a server.
