Export your data (CSV)

Export expenses as CSV for a spreadsheet, or use the passphrase-encrypted .vaultbackup format for supported backup and restore. CSV is an expense table, not a complete backup of the app.

1. 01

   Open Settings

   Tap your profile picture on Today, then choose Notifications, data, and advanced settings, then find the Data section.

2. 02

   Export to CSV

   Tap Export to CSV. Vault creates a CSV with dates, amounts, categories, and notes.

3. 03

   Save or share it

   Use the share sheet to save the file to Files, email it to yourself, or move it wherever you keep backups.
