How the on-device AI works
Molehill’s breakdowns run on your iPhone’s own chip. Here is what that means.
When Molehill breaks a task down or sorts a brain dump, that thinking happens right on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence, the device’s own on-device model. Your words never travel to a server.
There is no cloud step here. What you type stays on your device, even while the AI is working on it. Molehill makes no network calls at all.
It even works offline
Because everything runs locally, Molehill keeps working in Airplane Mode, on a plane, in a basement, or anywhere with no signal. There is no connection to wait on.
