What Cove notices in an entry
Tone, a theme, and one warm line back, produced on your device.
When you save an entry, Cove reads it on the device and offers a small, deliberately restrained response: the tone it picked up, a theme it saw, and one sentence reflecting the entry back to you.
It is meant to feel like being heard, not analysed. Cove Plus shows the full set of emotions and themes it noticed rather than the headline one.
Which engine produced it
Cove labels its insights honestly. On Apple Intelligence hardware, Apple's on-device model writes the reflection. Where that is unavailable, a local NaturalLanguage engine produces sentiment and lexical themes instead. It is plainer, and it is still entirely local.
