Welcome to Cove
What Cove is, what it refuses to be, and the idea underneath it.
Cove is a journal with an unusual constraint: the AI that reads your words runs on your iPhone. Not on a fast server somewhere with a good privacy policy. On the phone in your hand.
That constraint is the whole product. It is what makes it reasonable to write the thing you would not paste into a chatbot, and it is the one promise a cloud journal cannot structurally match.
The four screens
- Home: today's prompt, a quick mood check-in, and the fastest way into writing.
- Journal: everything you have written, searchable by words and by meaning.
- Insights: mood trends, recurring themes, and your weekly reflections.
- Settings: the app lock, reminders, export and import, your plan, and the privacy panel.
There is no Cove account and nothing to sign in to. You can write your first entry about thirty seconds after opening the app.
