Room Scan

Point the camera at a room and take one photo. Trove examines the whole frame and a grid of crops across it, classifies each region on the device, filters the results against a household vocabulary, and then names and values the room in a single pass.

You get a review grid. Deselect anything that is not yours or not worth recording, edit values inline, and commit. Sets of identical objects, such as four dining chairs, collapse into one entry with a quantity.

Getting a better scan

• Stand back far enough to get the room in frame. Trove is looking for many things, not one thing.
• Good light. It is a camera; the usual rules apply.
• Two or three scans from different corners beat one heroic wide shot.
• Doors and drawers open if what is inside matters.
