Multiple homes and iCloud sync

Trove Plus supports multiple homes. Each property gets its own scoped inventory, warranties, and insights, which is what you want for a rental, a second home, or a parent's house you are helping document.

How sync works

Trove is local-first. Turning on sync moves the catalogue into your own private iCloud database, which means your Apple account rather than an Obsidian Ridge Labs server. Both modes point at the same on-disk store, so switching does not lose anything.
