Updated 2026-07-11
When a transcript is ready, you decide where it goes and in what shape. Echo Chamber exports to four formats, from portable plain text to a polished document.
The four formats
- TXT, for clean plain text that opens almost anywhere.
- Markdown, for notes apps and documents.
- PDF, for a polished shareable document.
- DOCX, for an editable Microsoft Word document.
- 1
Open a recording
Go to the transcript you want to share.
- 2
Tap Export and choose a format
Pick the format that suits where the transcript is headed.
- 3
Share or save
Send it through the share sheet, save it to Files, or hand it to another app.
Check the export menu
The export menu shows the formats available for the current app version and plan. Speaker names you assign are carried into the exported document.
